Pulmonology EMR Software

Orthopedic Electronic Medical Records Software is a computer application that manages the clinical, financial and administrative functions of a healthcare organization. For a system to be considered as an Electronic Medical Record it must integrate information from multiple sources, capture data at the point of encounter and support caregiver decision making. While many products on the market use Electronic Medical Records, EMR and EHR as "buzz" words to generate interest, not all the products that use this term meet the basic functions that merit it to be a true Electronic Medical Record system. In most cases electronic medical records software is a application that is installed on a central server and connnected via a network to terminals such as PC's, laptops, Tablet PC's and PDA's. These terminals are then accessed by caregivers and administrative staff to input clinical, financial and administrative data. In most cases an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) will integrate with the organization's billing software, allowing the caregiver to see the patients check in/out, submit CPT/ICD information to the billing software, assist the caregiver in decision making through treatment plan recommendations and generate reports.
